C3 Nairobi is a family of believers passionate about encountering God, growing in discipleship, and seeing lives transformed in our city.
OUR STORY
The Beginning
C3 Nairobi was founded by Pastors Garth and Jaime, who felt God prompting them to establish a life-giving church in the heart of Kenya. Their faith, leadership, and genuine love for people helped form a vibrant community, one marked by authentic connections and Spirit-led worship.
From the start, C3 Nairobi has been a place where people don't just attend, they belong. Where God's Word is taught with depth. Where the Holy Spirit moves. Where friendships go deeper than Sunday small talk.
A New Season
In time, Pastors Garth and Jaime recognized God's calling on Pastor Kevin and began working with him for local leadership. In March 2025, Pastor Kevin was ordained to lead the church into this new season by Pastor Rock Mutegheki, who oversees C3's East and West Africa region.
We honor the remarkable foundation laid by Pastors Garth and Jaime, and we celebrate what God continues to do through our dedicated pastoral team.
OUR PASTORS
KEVIN AND SIMBA VIKILU
Pastor Kevin brings a caring, shepherd-like approach to ministry, with a background in psychology and theology. His teaching is grounded in Scripture, practical for real life, and deeply pastoral.
Simba serves alongside him with a prophetic perspective, offering insight and sensitivity to the Spirit's leading. She also oversees C3 Kids with creativity, warmth, and a vision to see children encounter God.
Together, they lead with authenticity, humility, and a passion to see Nairobi drawn closer to God.

C3 Nairobi is part of C3 Church Global, an international movement of over 500 churches in 64 countries. Founded by Pastors Phil and Chris Pringle in 1980, C3 Global began with a small gathering in Sydney's Northern Beaches and has grown into a dynamic family of Christ-centered, Spirit-powered, and connect-driven communities.
Phil and Chris left New Zealand with a pioneering spirit, dreaming of building a contemporary, relevant, and anointed church. Today, their passion continues to inspire new generations of believers around the world.
Our heart as a movement is to see healthy, vibrant churches where people can know Jesus personally, be empowered by the Holy Spirit, and form authentic connections. Every C3 location seeks to reflect the culture of its city while changing it, staying united under the vision to reach the lost and make disciples.
